COVID-19 Policy

COVID-19 Policy & Procedure

Dear CDG Electrical Customer,

As we know you are aware of these uncertain times, we at CDG Electrical wanted to reach out to all our customers to let you know that we are committed to remaining open and available for all your electrical needs.

We are, however, taking the health and well being of our customers and staff very seriously. To do our part in stopping the spread of Covid 19, we will be complying with social distancing recommendations. Please allow as much space between yourself and our technicians as possible.

We have also enhanced our cleaning processes. You will notice that all our staff will have bottles of sanitizing products. All areas where work is being done will be sanitized before and after. If you are sensitive to smells, as most sanitizing products are scented, or have concerns with certain products, please notify our office staff prior to our arrival. We will do our best to provide an option best suited to you. Our technicians will also be wearing gloves and masks whenever on site. These are large masks that can look a little daunting, however, are for the safety of everyone.

Changes to Estimate policies:

Estimates have typically been done in person so our technicians can properly access areas and give the best pricing possible. During these times all estimates will be done by phone and email. We ask that customers send as much information as possible (drawings, pictures, measurements, etc.) via email and we will call at a time that works best for you if we require more information. We will also be extending the expiration date on estimates from 15 days to 30 days.

We ask that if you have any of the following that you kindly call our office and reschedule your appointment:

  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Fever
  • Have traveled out of Canada within the last 14 days or have been in close contact with someone who has
  • Been in contact with someone who is confirmed to have or suspected to have Covid 19 within the last 14 days

In closing, we want all our customers to know that we have the same concerns as you.
As a community if we stay strong and all do our part, we will get through this.
